6 of the Biggest US Tech IPOs and Listings of 2026 So Far
SpaceX raised $75 billion in June, setting a new IPO record. Here are six of the biggest US tech IPOs and listings priced by October 15, ranked by base-offering proceeds.
Quick Answer
SpaceX led the 2026 US tech IPO market with a $75 billion base offering. SK Hynix's $26.5 billion US share offering ranked second, followed by Cerebras at $5.55 billion. Fervo Energy, Quantinuum and X-energy round out this selection, each raising between $1 billion and $2 billion in base offerings.
This ranking compares six of 2026's largest US tech IPOs and listings by base-offering gross proceeds: shares sold in the main offering multiplied by the offer price, before fees and before any extra shares sold through the underwriters' overallotment option. It covers companies that had priced and begun trading by October 15, 2026, and is a selection of major deals, not a complete census of every tech listing. Companies that have filed or are reported to be preparing to list but had not yet priced, such as Anthropic and OpenAI, are not included. SpaceX sits in a category of its own: the other five companies together raised less than half as much as it did.
How we counted
SK Hynix is already listed in Seoul, so its $26.5 billion Nasdaq offering was a US listing of American depositary receipts, not a first-ever IPO. We include it because it was the second-largest US tech share sale of the year. Fervo Energy and X-energy are clean-energy technology companies, and we count them as tech because they were venture-backed technology developers before listing. All amounts are base-offering gross proceeds at the offer price and exclude overallotment options, even when those options were later exercised.

SK Hynix
South Korea · Nasdaq: SKHY · July 10, 2026- Amount raised:
- $26.5B
- Category:
- Memory chips
SK Hynix sold 177.9 million American depositary receipts at $149 each, with ten receipts representing one common share. The company is already listed in Seoul, so this was a US listing and offering of new shares rather than a first-ever IPO. Reuters reported the offering was more than seven times oversubscribed.
Yahoo Finance describes it as the largest US share sale ever completed by a foreign company, topping Alibaba's roughly $25 billion in 2014.

SpaceX
Nasdaq: SPCX · June 12, 2026- Amount raised:
- $75B
- Category:
- Space and satellites
SpaceX priced 555.6 million shares at $135 each and began trading on Nasdaq on June 12. Underwriters also hold an option on 83.3 million more shares, which could add about $11 billion if exercised.
The previous record was Saudi Aramco's 2019 base offering of about $25.6 billion (about $29.4 billion with its overallotment option), per Visual Capitalist, so SpaceX's base offering is nearly three times as large. Some outlets cite a slightly lower figure of about $24.9 billion.

This ranking compares the base-offering gross proceeds of selected US technology IPOs and public listings priced from January 1 through October 15, 2026 and trading by that date. Proceeds are shares sold in the base offering multiplied by the offer price, before underwriting discounts, commissions and other expenses. Underwriters' overallotment options are excluded, even when exercised later; for example, Fervo Energy's total rose to about $2.2 billion after its option was exercised. SK Hynix is included because its US American depositary share offering was one of the year's largest technology share sales, although the company was already publicly listed in South Korea. The list is a selection of major deals and has not been verified as a complete census of every qualifying listing. It is not a ranking by valuation or first-day performance. Reported totals may differ when sources include overallotment shares or use rounded figures.
